Elizabeth loves the new iPhone

Takes her about 10 seconds to figure out how the new forward-facing camera works! The iPhone and iPad are already our favorite new toys, especially for long flights… thank goodness for Dora the Explorer.

Here are some photos from recent excursions with Elizabeth. The first few are from feeding Tiffany & Grahame’s dogs, then a bunch of photos from walks in the desert, and finally a few from dinner @ Greasewood Flat last night. After a solid week of rain we’ve been spending as much time outside as possible.

Thanksgiving

Had a great Thanksgiving weekend with our relatives. Flew to Atlanta where we had Thanksgiving dinner, then spent the weekend at Sylvia & Fil’s lakehouse in northern Georgia. Elizabeth got plenty of attention, and we got to relax a bit.

Yesterday was Elizabeth’s birthday… we kept it low-key since Ann is out of town (work) and the party is scheduled for next weekend. It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since we started this journey. Lots of work, but tons of fun too.

Back from Maine

In August we spent 11 days in the New England area… we flew into Boston, met up with Sylvia & Fil, and had a nice visit with Dana/Allison/Steve/Charlie. Then we made our way up to Bar Harbor for Julie & Matt’s wedding. Other that the heat wave we brought with us, it was a great trip!
